I have a new little collection... Swizzle Sticks!! I'm still in collecting mode but I have future plans to use these in my craft projects and if I ever bake-- they'll make great cupcake toppers! If ;)

I love painted metal vintage and when it's also a storage item... I'm a very happy camper! I use this olive green Library Card catalog (remember the dewey decimal system?) for some of my buttons and it sits beside my desk on a painted metal projector stand :) They fit so perfectly together and make me smile :)

I went on a little thrifting trip yesterday :) Found lots of pretty things, some for me, some for work... and some for both :) My favorite is the 'Party Rock' 8-Track for my car... it has Crimson and Clover, one of my favorite oldies (original and covers) :)

I took a short break this weekend to go shopping at the Fringe Festival, drink 3 lime-lemonades and meet my online friends, Stef & Erin! Their shop IS oh So Lovely and I gasped when I walked in-- so much juicy color, amazing vintage, beautiful displays and lots of heart!! I picked out a few necklaces, a tablecloth, vintage book called "Happy Days" and a journal! I totally recommend bookmarking their blog-- you'll love watching their business flourish, it's a constant inspiration and they have lots of wonderful posts! xo!!

I've been working on a blog design (for a client) that will focus on marine glass in the banner and I've been brainstorming how I will gather enough vintage bottles. While I was at the cabin this weekend, I realized my Mom pretty-much has a full collection through out the cabin! The Hurdle: she was very nervous to let me borrow it because:
But Momma being as loving as she is and supportive of my work, helped me wrap each piece in newsprint and let me borrow it. The Catch: She gave me a 2 week time limit like she's the Librarian of cabin decorations.
I'm so excited to show my client the bottle collection and set up for the blog banners photoshoot :) Need a few more things and I'll be ready! Thanks for your help Mom, I only broke one. Just kidding!
