Pyrex Love, science!

Last month, I introduced you to my big crush on Pyrex via the Pyrex Love photo series but I only focused on kitchenware. I'm also smitten with science Pyrex and I collect small beakers & cylinders (I love how they transport me back to high school science). I was fascinated with the Chemistry Lab-- amazing equipment & wardrobe, experiements and danger!  Wanna be my lab partner?

I occasionally use these pyrex beakers as bud vases but usually, I just like them on my window sill with the sun shining through. mmmmm.

Partitioned pyrex dishes work perfect as a dog dish! So excited to replace her metal bowls with this cute set-up today :)

Pyrex Love, day five

I found this pretty set at seperate times. They remind me of my grandma's corel dishes growing up... they were the safe-for-kids dishes and my cousin and 2 siblings & I would sit at the kids table pretending we were foreign movie critics and we'd discuss movies with accents. It was really elaborate too-- such a weird and hilarious memory!

Pyrex Love, day four

I was at a thrift store across the city with my boyfriend when the aisles parted and this big bowl was waiting for me like my prize for crossing the finish line. It was a piece I'd turned down a year or so ago at a Flea Market (too much $) and now, our paths met again. I let out a shreak that startled Keith and before he knew it, I was far ahead of him sporting Mall Walker pace towards this polka dot bowl. She's mine and for only $4 :)

Pyrex Love, day three

Most of my pyrex collection sticks to bowls (and a few plates) but I also like the glass carafes and small decanters. I found this pyrex salt and pepper for $4 while thrifting and they're sitting pretty in our studio's kitchenette. Check out these pretty styles on Etsy :)
