Last night, Jill came to my house and we made zingy mojitos, listened to records and did some stitching. I'm trying to turn Olivia's drawing of me into a stitched version, but I only got the hair done because there was so much girl talk. Jill noted that I call these nights "Girls Night", but that that's not her thing. lol.
I'm going bowling tonight for Olivia and Kennedy's 6th birthday. I got invited to both the friends party and the family party. Special :)

Every Tuesday afternoon, we watch The Bachelor during work and the things we say/yell at the tv are pretty strange/funny! I planted a microphone in the room last night at our Bachelor Party and thought you might enjoy some of our commentary ;)

Ben: "If my mom and sister don't approve of Courtney, I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't know what I'm going to do."
Amber: Dude! Then you just choose the other girl!

Kyla: I've got vertigo!! [during the hanging gondala ride with the door open; she couldn't look at the tv]

LA: What is this?! Are they sex standing skiing? (they were on the same skis standing/spooning. it looked weird) Amber: Nooooa LA: That's the biggest helmet ever, where's his? She must be noob. Kyla: (concerned protective voice) She is. She was saying this is her first time skiing ever. LA: (softened) Then that's reallly cute that he was teaching her-- I like that! Amber: (mocking me) "What is this? Skiing sex?" That's what teaching someone to ski looks like. LA: Oh! I never learned, I just went down... and then I wiped out ;)

LA: Look at her cute shoes, they have tassles on the back. She should be a Blowfish blogger.

LA: [re: wardrobe] Ben's such a Chalet Man right now.

LA: (Lindzi's telling Ben she's ready for the next step) I think she's drank too much. Kyla: Don't be such a jerk. LA: Sorry, my heart is a little hard ;) Kyla: She probably has, let's not lie. LA: I really wish they'd show how much wine they went through this season. How far across the world would the wine bottles stretch. (It would be a funny bet! like guess the number of jellybeans but bottles!)
Kyla: I really want her jewelry situation. LA: She has good wrists for jewelry. Kyla: She has a great gold pairing. I really want a gold watch, with a bracelet beside that, and something beside that... but I don't know how to bring that into my life!

LA: *gasp* "Gloves!?!"
LA: Capes!! Is capes the new thing?? AMBER: CAPES ARE SO CUTE!

LA: I kinda want him to choose Courtney! I feel weird about myself right now.

I look like I'm in a mod video game! A few Friday's back, we all hung out at our studio and did some photoshoots (mostly for our new Indie Website). It was a fun night and we went out for nacho's afterwards at one of our favorite local spots :) Jill took the video below with my iPhone/8mm App (one of my fave apps!) and I thought it would be fun to show you a piece of our night :) And later, we made dance videos that should never see the light of day!
