I was at the cabin for Thankgiving with my family this weekend and we went for a walk along the lake. It was misting out, the dogs were trying to go swimming and the ladies were finding beach glass all over the place... I love these moments.
Because I have depression and I'm an introvert, a lot of times I just want to stay at home, where I feel peace. But once I'm out and about, I find a lot of little and big things to enjoy and I'm thankful for that. They feed me, I smile extra and bring others a smile and I appreciate the world and people I encounter. Depression and anxiety is hard, and it's a struggle I wish I didn't have, but I live by the motto above and I do love what I do. And I love that :)
