With the help of her community, an artist named Candy Chang turned the side of this abandoned house in New Orleans into a giant chalkboard for residents to share what's important to them! "Before I Die transformed a neglected space into a constructive one to help improve our neighbourhood and our personal well-being." said Candy.
I love the heart behind this participatory public art project and I teared up & smiled reading strangers answer in the photos.
I believe life is full of possibilities and with action & persistence, possiblities can become your real life. I wonder if this project will be the first step for lots of people and the motivation for others to pursue their own goals. There's so much power in numbers and taking the first step-- these walls give me GOOSEBUMPS!
